Lisa Zaccanelli M.S. LCSW
I have worked as a Psychotherapist for over 13 years in both the public and private sector. I have extensive experience helping individuals in managing emotional and behavioral challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationships, and emotion regulation challenges.
In addition to therapy I am also a Certified Integrative Health Coach. My focus area’s include: binge eating disorders, exercise, and nutrition. I rely on both my clinical and health coaching experience to assist clients in these areas. I have a passion for helping my clients find peace with food. Throughout my life and in building my practice I have had my own journey to create a healthy relationship with food. I’ve also learned how to balance nutrition with exercise I can enjoy. As I work with clients I help them better understand how exercise has positive effects on both the mind and body.
I grew up in the southwest spending my summers hiking and camping in our national parks and the winters skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I now live in Richmond, Virginia with my husband and son and love to spend my summers by the ocean and hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains.
